Training News You Can Use!
We all intuitively understand the importance of
communication in business. All too often businesses
give attention only to how they communicate to their
customers and business partners. What is rarely
considered is the importance of proper communication
among co-workers and employees. The irony is that
effective external communication cannot take place
until internal communications are clarified.
In this month’s News You Can Use, we present
articles to help everyone in your business to
understand and to effectively communicate your
services and procedures by practicing effective
communication techniques internally. We hope you
find this information useful and as always, contact
us if we can assist you with your training needs.

Let A Mission Statement Be Your Guiding Light
by Angelica Rose
Imagine a company without any direction. What do you
think would happen? It is like wanting to get
somewhere and not knowing how to get there.
Employees would have a lack of focus on the goals of
the organization. As a result, they will incorporate
their own assumptions as to what they think is best,
become lazy, procrastinate and slack off on the job.
Since the philosophy and values are unclear, the
company could hire employees with values different
then theirs. The employees may become adamant in
voicing their beliefs that could cause major
conflicts with the operation of the business. Your
clients feel unappreciated. Results? High turn over
or employees will quit and your clients will
eventually look elsewhere to get their business
needs met.
